Foster Moore, CTA, Passes Away

Brother Moore’s wife, Hind Atik, said that her husband called out sick March 25, 2020 because he was beginning to show symptoms of the virus.  He spent the next week at home battling his illness.  His condition worsened on April 2nd, and he was taken to the hospital by EMS.  He died two hours later. He resided with his family in Jersey City.

Stations Division Vice President Lynwood Whichard said that “everyone in the Cleaners’ Section is feeling this loss.  He was such a good guy, so helpful to everyone.”

Local 100 President Tony Utano said that “our hearts go out to Brother Moore’s family and everyone he worked with in Stations.  These are very difficult days for the entire union.”
