On International Workers Day: Putting a Human Face on Workers' Safety
On International Workers’ Day, May 1, TWU Local 100 Vice President for RTO Kevin Harrington brought Bernadette, the widow of fallen Track Worker Daniel Boggs, and their daughter Kristen on stage to address thousands of labor activists at Foley Square in downtown Manhattan. The purpose: to put a human face on the tremendous toll on worker safety from employers who cut corners and skimp on safety. Click on the image to see the video.
