TWU Local 100 is proudly supporting Latrice Monique Walker, an attorney who is running for a seat in the State Assembly in the September 9th Democratic Primary. If elected, Latrice would represent the 55th Assembly District in Central Brooklyn. Latrice grew up in Brownsville and attended public schools, graduating from Brooklyn Tech, attending college at SUNY Purchase, and then attaining her law degree from Pace. She has been a noted community activist in housing and issues of economic empowerment. She's also a supporter of TWU Local 100 and our agenda for more and better mass transit for all New Yorkers. For more information, you can visit Latrice on Facebook or donate to her campaign on her official site. And, if you live in the 55th District and are a registered Democrat, don't forget to vote on September 9th!
