Further details in PDF notice.

Attention: Candidates/Observers

We’ve had to work hard to rearrange things and consulted all the slates to get their input.
1.     The Ballot Count will be at the Brooklyn Bridge Marriot Hotel, located at 333 Adams Street, New York, N.Y. 11201.  The count will start at 9:00 a.m on Thursday, December 6, 2018.
2.     Observers who want to watch the American Arbitration Association move the ballots from their office to the Marriot Hotel should arrive at 7:00 a.m. at the AAA office, 120 Broadway, New York, N.Y. 10271. The move may start a bit later but it may be that early. Observers can also meet the AAA van at the Brooklyn Marriot to watch them be unloaded from the truck and moved upstairs to the room where the count will occur. While waiting for the last mail bag at the P.O. the ballots will get cut open, but not pulled out. Please notify the Election Committee if you or a member of your slate will be at the AAA office.
3.       At 9:00 a.m., AAA will be at the rear entrance (West Broadway between Barclay Street and Vesey Street) of the U.S. Post Office at 90 Church Street, New York, N.Y. 10007, to pick up ballots. That will be one mail bag, that will be put into an Car Service and driven to the Marriot. If there are a small number of observers AAA will share the cab. These ballots will be brought upstairs and get sliced open and then slotted in by Department, so as to avoid duplicate balloting (2nd ballot counts).
4.     The count will proceed from 9:00 a.m. until completion at the Marriot Hotel.

Any candidate or observer who initially put in advanced and received a day off from management on Wednesday December 5, 2018, to observe the ballot count, but needs assistance in getting the day off on Thursday, December 6, 2018, should immediately notify Election Committee member, Ms. Angella Fonte, no later than 10:00 a.m., tomorrow morning so we can intervene with management.
