Main Table Economic Demands

• Substantial Wage Increases in Each Year of the Agreement

• Hazard Pay

• Increase in Contributions for Dental/Optical Plans

• EZ Pass for All Members

• Ensure all (especially) Women’s Facilities at every work location are properly maintained

• Penalty for withholding pay where Arbitrator Awards Back Pay and interest on all retroactive pay not remitted within 30 days of ratification

• Reduce Wage Progression

• Maintainer’s Pay Increase

• No increase in medical contribution

• Increase Death in Family to 5 days

• Include more family members that qualify for Death in Family

• Create MTA Funded Annuity / MTA Match 401/457

• Increase Night Differential

• Increase AVA / OTO allotments

• Maintain and improve sick leave cash out program

• Increase MTA Bus Pension

• Provide lifetime coverage for families/dependents of COVID victims

• Retirees Medicare Part B paid in full

• Retiree Bus Passes for all OA/TA/MTA Bus Retirees

• Add COVID Remembrance Day as a Holiday

• Increase Maternity/Paternity Leave to 6 months

• Implement Lifetime Spousal Medical Benefit

• Contractual Provisions for Assaults (2 years on payroll; 4 years to reinstate)

• Provide for Autism Care in medical benefits

• Increase Contributions to TUF/CCF

• Quarterly Meetings with MTA Workers Compensation Department


TWU LOCAL 100 RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADD TO,  CHANGE, MODIFY OR DELETE ANY OF THESE PROPOSALS UP TO AND INCLUDING THE TIME OF THE EXECUTION OF A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT.
