AUGUST 31, 2026—Shameia Colter, a Station Agent with nearly 12 years of service to New York City Transit, was sworn in as the newest member of the TWU Local 100 Executive Board by President John V. Chiarello.
Sister Colter began her career with New York City Transit in October 2014 and has remained active in representing her fellow members. She was elected to two terms as Station Agents Section Recording Secretary and currently serves as the elected Stations Division Recording Secretary. She also helps welcome and educate the union’s newest members as one of Local 100’s New Hire Orientation facilitators.
Sister Colter succeeds longtime Executive Board member Stephen Anderson, who recently retired. Her appointment to the Executive Board is effective immediately.
