Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
OCTOBER 2, 2026—Registration is open for the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, which will take place this year at Orchard Beach in the Bronx.
You can join us in fundraising during Breast Cancer Awareness Month by participating in the walk and donating directly to Local 100’s fundraising team.
The money will not only go to breast cancer research grants, but also to fund the 24/7 helpline for cancer patients and their caregivers, free transportation to chemotherapy appointments, and free lodging near hospitals and treatment centers for patients and their families.
