TWU Local 100 has continued to Lobby for the Death Gamble bill and met with the City Council regarding the Home Rule which has been in process since May 10th. Our Political & Legislative Director received a call that there will be a vote in favor of the Death Gamble Legislation in the City Council on Thursday, May 23, 2024. This legislation is very important and I’m grateful that we’ve all worked together to provide transit employee’s family the benefit of receiving the full value of the pension. This will be a major success for us all. When we work together, we win!!
