Mission Statement:
Our mission is to honor and empower our union brothers and sisters who are military veterans by fostering a community that ensures their well-being, celebrates their sacrifices, and assists them in navigating the unique challenges they may face.

Who We Are:
The TWU Local 100 Veterans Service Department is a dedicated and compassionate group within the Transport Workers Union (TWU) Local 100, specifically focused on addressing the needs and concerns of transit workers with military service backgrounds. We are committed to fostering a sense of belonging and understanding, recognizing the valuable contributions and sacrifices made by our veteran members.

Services We Provide:
Advocacy and Support:
• We advocate for veterans' rights within the workplace, ensuring that their unique needs and challenges are recognized and addressed.
• Our support extends to matters such as job placement, promotions, and accommodations to facilitate a smooth transition from military service to civilian life.

Veteran Outreach and Networking:
• Through regular events, workshops, and networking opportunities, we provide a platform for veterans to connect, share experiences, and build a strong community within TWU Local 100.
