MTA should refund lost days to unlimited-ride MetroCard users for transit shutdown during hurricane

Not that we don't appreciate the wisdom of shutting down the subways and buses at noon Saturday through Monday morning, because we surely do. But there is the matter of all the New Yorkers who paid in advance for the privilege of riding on the days when service was suspended and who have lost out on the deal.
