New York City is polluting less. The city’s newly released <a href="http://nytelecom.vo.llnwd.net/o15/agencies/planyc2030/pdf/greenhousegas_2011.pdf">2010 greenhouse gas audit</a> reveals that America’s largest city reduced carbon emissions by 1.1 percent in 2010, down to a total of 54.3 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent. That’s a slightly smaller reduction than previous years.
