NYC Declares Air Quality Advisories for All 5 Boroughs; Union Cautions Members to Wear Masks Outdoors

JUNE 7 -- Because of an unprecedented decline in local air quality, due to ongoing forest fires in Canada, the union today cautioned members as follows: "Please take extra precautions and always wear a mask while outdoors until air pollutants return to safe levels. We urge you to stay informed by clicking this link to monitor the air quality index in New York City. Stay safe and stay protected."
