TWU Local 100 Celebrates Family Appreciation Day at Coney Island

Thousands of transit workers and their families from every Department gathered for tailgate parties, rides for the kids, and two exhibition softball games at MCU Park at Coney Island June 2. The union’s 9th annual family day was graced by great weather. All you can eat hot dogs added to the festive spirit. Kids enjoyed rides, access to Luna Park at a discount, face painting, and a talent show. The video gives those who weren’t there a taste of the fun.
