TWU Mourns Trackworker Patrick McLoughlin, 53
TWU Local 100 members and officers in Track are mourning the unexpected passing on April 26, 2021 of Patrick J. ‘Pat’ McLoughlin. He died of a heart attack at his home in New Jersey. He was only 53 years old.
Brother McLoughlin worked Capital Construction Days out of 180th St. He had been on the job since 1993, and graduated Track school in the same class as former Local 100 President and now International President John Samuelsen. “Pat was a great guy and well respected by everyone in Track and across the union. I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of this good union man and brother Trackworker. My heart goes out to his family, friends and co-workers,” said Samuelsen.
He is survived by his mother, Bridget Grogan McLouglin; sister, Regina, and three adoring nieces and nephews. Brother McLoughlin was interred at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, NJ.
