Bus Operators to Walder: Stop Hustling!

Bus Operators joined Station Agents and other Local 100 members outside MTA Chairman Jay Walder's penthouse apartment (paid for by our taxes) to conduct a mock pool tournament to demonstrate their anger over Walder's insinuation that Transit is paying Operators "to play pool." Demonstrators handed out flyers to the press and the public explaining how "swing runs" are an advantage to management, and that management routinely demands more swing runs in each collective bargaining go-round. TWU maintains a regular "vigil" for laid off Station Agents outside Walder's apartment building at 105 Duane St. Monday - Friday, 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Drop by and show your support for our laid off Brothers and Sisters.
