Our Brothers and Sisters from the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) are sponsoring an event on May 27 -- next Wednesday -- outside NYCT’s Brooklyn Headquarters at 130 Livingston Street to highlight the contributions and sacrifices of Transit Workers during the Coronavirus crisis.

PBA members will roll up in a truck jam-packed with pre-packaged meals for distribution to Transit Workers from 12:30pm until the food is gone.   All Transit Workers are asked to come out for a plate, and for a show of union solidarity with New York’s Finest.

Local 100 President Tony Utano and PBA President Pat Lynch, who started out as a NYCT Conductor before crossing over to become a Police Officer, will be on hand to greet all in attendance.

President Utano said, “we’re really looking forward to this event with our brothers and sisters in Blue.  The Coronavirus crisis has revealed to all New Yorkers that heroes are found throughout our City’s unionized workforces.  We all appreciate this show of support and solidarity from the PBA.
