RTO Mourns Conductor Gary Cherry, 56, from Coronavirus

He was a Mason and a longtime member of Lodge 47 in Brooklyn. He loved music, dancing, and sports, with football his favorite. His wife Odette told the union that “he was an all-out person, who everybody loved. He was a generous man. If he had a dime he’d split it with you into a nickel.”

Said RTO VP Eric Loegel: “Brother Cherry will be missed dearly by his loved ones, friends, and co-workers. Our hearts are heavy with his loss, and I wish the best for his family during these sad times.”
