Tell Your Sandy Stories

The Workforce Development Institute, in cooperation with the New York State AFL-CIO, is offering two workshops so that union members who worked during Hurricane Sandy, either preparing for the hurricane or protecting transit infrastructure, and/or who assisted in the clean-up and support of those affected by the hurricane, can tell their stories. These stories will be archived and preserved as part of the historical record of the labor movement in New York. The two workshops will take place in the UAW Conference Room, 256 West 38th Street, in Manhattan, on the 12th Floor.

Dates and Times: Wednesday, January 30 at 9AM, Noon, and 6PM. Also Wednesday, February 6, at 9AM, Noon, and 6PM. If you have questions, please call Sue Hains at 518-272-3500, ext. 105 or Sonia Ivany at 212-777-6040. For more information, click here.
