TWU Mourns Retired Officer Lee C. Williams

TWU Local 100 mourns the passing of retired member and officer Lee C. Williams on Dec. 6, 2015 after an 8-year battle with cancer. Brother Williams had served as Chair of the East New York Depot, Division Chair for TA Surface Transportation, and Local 100 Staff Representative.  He retired in 2006.

Brother Williams was born in Harlem on July 25, 1940.  He is a graduate of City College, and served the nation in the U.S. Military during the Vietnam War, Desert Storm and Desert Shield actions. Lee was a member of the Holy Name Church in Montgomery, NY and President of the Lakeside Homeowners Association. Survivors include his loving wife, Carlean Williams, who is retired from her long-time job as Communications Coordinator for the TWU International Union.

Arrangements are as follows: Visitation -- Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-9:00pm at the Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank Street, Walden, NY.

Funeral Mass -- Friday Dec. 11, 2015, at 10:00am, Holy Name of Mary Church, 89 Union St., Montgomery, NY
