Quality of life improvements continue as we add another work location to the list of renovated facilities. President Richard Davis led the ribbon cutting of Flatbush Depot's renovated facilities this morning accompanied by TWU Local 100 officers and fellow members. “I made a promise to our members and I have every intention of keeping it. I toured the system and found an outrageous number of locations in dire need of improvements. Their safety and quality of life were jeopardized. And that’s what we’re working towards fixing now. Even if I have to fight tooth and nail for it.” Said President, Richard Davis.

Across the subway and bus network, crew facilities exhibit unsanitary conditions and require significant repairs. The union is committed to addressing these issues. Our goal is to systematically enhance the presentability of these facilities for our members, safeguarding their jobs and livelihoods. We are dedicated to providing them with safe, clean and respectable working environments.

Flatbush depot received a complete renovation of their maintenance lockeroom complete with showers new bathroom stalls, sinks, and dryers. The plumbing was done incredibly using in-house talent. Our members at MOW structure are really the designers and builders of the system. #MemberBuilt
