MTA Bus Contract UPDATE: Message from TWU Local 100 President John Samuelsen
On Friday, October 23, 2015 we will hold a full main table bargaining session with the MTA in an effort to achieve a contract that brings MTA Bus members parity on wages and benefits, and that once and for all addresses the inequity in the pension plan. Myself, Vice President John Day and the entire union negotiating committee will participate. Everyone on the union side of the table is committed to securing pension improvements that are not tied to concessions of any kind. I hope to be able to report a positive outcome to this crucial collective bargaining session with management.
